Happy 1 Month Birthday Eden!

Today Eden is one month old. How time is passing so quickly now that she is here...maybe because we are so busy??? She is growing and changing so quickly! Here are some things she's doing now:

-She is starting to hold her head up and move it around from side to side.
-She has become a little "oinklet" when it comes to eating. She weighs over 10 pounds.
-She makes noises that sound like a cross between a raccoon cub and Chewbacca.
-Unlike her big brother, she hasn't yet discovered the thrill of long periods of sleep during the night (this nocturnal nature may further explain the sounds I just mentioned)
-She is starting to focus on objects close to her

Evan is noticing the presence of his little sis (primarily when she's crying...I guess that may be the beginning of his protective big bro instincts)

Life is busy. Life is short. God is great. Seize the moment!

That Silly Duck!!

Evan loves bath time and just moved into the big boy bathtub. He loves his daddy playing with him while he takes a bath. He has also found that his bath toys are very fun to play with. On the video you can hear his sweet laugh. That is a sound that Eric and I could listen to all day!

A GREAT Day for the PARK!

Here lately in East Texas the weather has been GREAT! Last Friday, my mom and I decided to take the kiddos to the park. We went around lunch time so Eric was able to meet us there and we all had a very good time. Eden is so small that she did not get to do much but I did carry her down the slide. I think she was asleep but I am sure she loved it! Evan loved everything about the park. He got to swing, go down the slide with mom, jump on the bouncy bridge and just hang out on the playground. He LOVED it!

For Easter, Grammie and Grandpa bought Evan a swing and he LOVES it! We are enjoying getting out in the pretty spring weather and playing outside.

I love the second picture of Evan because it shows his two teeth on top. Evan will be six months old tomorrow and he already has four teeth, two on top and two on bottom.

Eden even gets to help push her bubba in the swing. In the last picture you can see her in her sling. She loves it in there!

Evan and Eden's First Easter

On Easter Sunday, Eden's due date, we had our families out to our house for Easter lunch. We were glad Eden had already arrived and was able to celebrate with us.
